Back Pain
Lumbar Spinal Stenosis/DDD
Pain 9–10/10 → <1/103 Months
“I could only stand for about two or three minutes.” Barry came to Regen Experts with lumbar spinal stenosis, severe back pain, and pain radiating from his thigh into his shin. His pain reached 9–10/10, and after standing for only two to three minutes, he needed to sit for relief. Travel and golf had become difficult, and lumbar surgery had been discussed. Approximately three months after his lumbar DDD orthobiologic treatment, Barry reports pain of less than 1/10, no remaining radiating leg pain, and a return to golf. Patient-reported pain: 9–10/10 before treatment → less than 1/10 at approximately 3 months. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Right Knee
Intraosseous Bone Marrow Concentrate
5–7/10 before treatment → 0/10 at 6 months.
“Starting four days after the procedure, I had no pain.” Before treatment, this patient reported right knee pain of 5–7/10 that prevented her from taking her usual two-mile morning walk and made stairs difficult. At her six-month follow-up after an intraosseous bone marrow concentrate procedure and treatment of supporting knee structures, she reports 0/10 pain with no recurrence. On a recent vacation, she walked more than 10,000 steps per day. Patient-reported pain: 5–7/10 before treatment → 0/10 at 6 months. Individual patient experience. Results and timing vary.
Back Pain
Four-Level Lumbar DDD — 9-Month Follow-Up
Pain 8-9/10 before→ Patient-reported pain at follow-up: 0/10
“Nine months later, I am really pain-free.” After years of treatments for chronic pain, this patient came to Regen Experts with symptoms severe enough to interfere with sleep, walking, work, and time with her family. She underwent a four-level lumbar DDD orthobiologic procedure. At her nine-month follow-up, she reports being pain-free with everyday walking, and says pain is no longer preventing her from doing the things she loves. Patient-reported pain at follow-up: 0/10 with getting up and walking. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Back Pain
Lumbar degenerative disc disease/chronic low-back pain
Pain 10/10 → <0/10 at 3 Months
“Best I’ve felt in 10 years.” This patient came to Regen Experts with lumbar degenerative disc disease and chronic low-back pain reaching 10/10. Surgery was increasingly becoming part of the conversation about his treatment options. Following a two-level nonsurgical lumbar orthobiologic procedure, he reports his pain as 0/10. Patient-reported pain: up to 10/10 before treatment → 0/10 after treatment. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Hip Pain
Interosseous Bone Marrow Concentrate / PRP
At 4 months: 95–99% pain-free
“Normal everyday walking—pain-free, no limp.” Before treatment, this patient experienced significant hip pain with walking, frequent limping, difficulty with stairs, and medication use for pain control. Four months after femoral head bone augmentation with concentrated bone marrow and PRP treatment of the gluteus medius tendons, she reports being 95–99% pain-free with everyday walking and says she no longer limps. She also completed extensive walking during a recent cruise, although stairs still caused some discomfort. Patient-reported outcome at 4 months: 95–99% pain-free with everyday walking. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Back Pain
Chronic Low Back Pain PRP
Pain before procedure 9/10 →
0/10 leg pain 1/10 back pain after
“My pain was about a nine on bad days.” Christine came to Regen Experts with low-back pain reaching 9/10, extending into her groin, hip, and down her left leg. Even gardening had become painful. Following her nonsurgical lumbar orthobiologic treatment, Christine reports 0/10 leg pain, resolution of her groin pain, and approximately 1/10 residual back discomfort. She has also returned to gardening without the severe pain she previously experienced. Patient-reported pain: up to 9/10 before treatment → approximately 1/10 back pain and 0/10 leg pain after treatment. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Shoulder Pain
Shoulder — PRP
Pain post procedure1/10 at 3 months
“My shoulder pain is about 90% better.” This patient experienced chronic right shoulder pain with lifting and arm movement, impaired mobility, and difficulty sleeping. He had considered surgery but wanted to explore other options first. Approximately five months after PRP treatment and continued physical therapy, he reports about 90% improvement in pain, improved mobility, and the ability to sleep without the shoulder pain that previously disturbed him. Patient-reported outcome at approximately 5 months: 90% improvement in shoulder pain. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Shoulder Pain
Left Shoulder — PRP
Pain 9–10/10 → <1/103 Months
“It’s 100% better.” Before treatment, this patient experienced sharp, intense shoulder pain with activity and difficulty sleeping. He had explored surgical options but wanted to consider a nonsurgical approach first. Approximately six weeks after PRP treatment of his left shoulder, he reports 100% improvement in his shoulder symptoms and a return to normal daily activities, including kayaking. Patient-reported outcome at approximately 6 weeks: 100% improvement in shoulder symptoms. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
Knee Pain
Knee Replacement Candidate/Interosseous BMAC
5/10 baseline, reaching 8–9/10 → approximately 2–3/10 at 6 weeks
“I got pain relief—and my range of motion improved.” This patient had been told he was a candidate for knee replacement in both knees. His right knee pain was typically 5/10 and could reach 8–9/10. Six weeks after intraosseous concentrated bone marrow treatment of the medial femur and tibia, he reports approximately 75% pain relief, pain around 2–3/10, improved range of motion, increased strength, and better everyday function. Patient-reported pain: 5/10 baseline, reaching 8–9/10 → approximately 2–3/10 at 6 weeks. Individual patient experience. Results vary. Orthobiologic treatment cannot guarantee avoidance of knee replacement.
Back Pain
Lumbar DDD PRP
Pain 9–10/10 → <2/10 at 3 Months
“I’m about 80% better.” Before treatment, Sherry's low-back pain was typically 7–8/10 and occasionally reached 9/10. Her ability to exercise was significantly limited. A couple of months after her lumbar DDD orthobiologic procedure, Sherry reports approximately 80% improvement. She is now walking for longer periods, exercising more, riding her bike, and using the elliptical. Patient-reported pain before treatment: 7–8/10, occasionally 9/10 → approximately 80% improvement at about 2 months. Individual patient experience. Results vary. Sherry reported improvement earlier than typically anticipated.
Back Pain
Lumbar DDD — 25 Years of Back Pain
Pain 7–8 /10 → 60% improvement at 2 1/2 months
“Those are things that I couldn’t even try to do before.” For approximately 25 years, this patient lived with chronic back pain of 7–8/10. He also had a history of prior spine surgery with hardware. His symptoms limited exercise, walking, travel, and his ability to sit comfortably through a flight. Approximately 2½ months after his lumbar DDD orthobiologic procedure, he reports at least 60% improvement and has returned to the gym, physical therapy, stretching, and light resistance exercise. Patient-reported pain: 7–8/10 before treatment → at least 60% improvement at approximately 2½ months. Individual patient experience. Results vary.

Patient-reported outcome: approximately 90% improvement following treatment. Individual patient experience. Results vary.
