Precision care for spine and joint pain—without starting with surgery
Deborah Westergaard, MD reviews your imaging, examines you, and performs the procedure herself. The answer may be an orthobiologic procedure, a conventional injection, rehabilitation, a referral—or no procedure at all.

HOW THE DECISION GETS MADE
The right treatment begins with identifying the likely pain source
Most people arrive with a scan and a recommendation. The scan is one input, not the answer.
Deborah Westergaard, MD reviews your imaging with you, examines you, and uses ultrasound in the room when it clarifies the picture. What she recommends depends on what the examination shows, not on what the report is called.
That may be an orthobiologic procedure, a conventional interventional procedure, shockwave therapy, rehabilitation, a referral to another specialist—or no procedure at all. She performs the procedures herself.
TREATMENT OPTIONS
Conditions we evaluate
Care centered on the way you move and live.
01
Knee pain
Explore potential sources including arthritis, meniscus or ligament concerns, inflammation, and joint mechanics.
02
Back & spine pain
Assess discs, facet and sacroiliac joints, ligaments, nerves, and other possible contributors.
03
Hip & shoulder pain
Clarify whether arthritis, labral or rotator-cuff concerns, bursitis, tendons, or instability may be involved.
04
Overuse injuries
Evaluate persistent tendon, ligament, elbow, wrist, ankle, or foot conditions that have not improved as expected.
Recommendations begin with the diagnosis—not a predetermined procedure.

SELECTED CANDIDATES
Orthobiologic procedures
Image-guided procedures using a patient’s own platelets or bone marrow concentrate may be considered for certain joint, tendon, ligament, or spine-related conditions.
LICENSED NETWORK
Regenexx® procedures
Standardized, image-guided procedures whose suitability depends on diagnosis, history, examination, imaging, and functional goals.
PRECISION GUIDANCE
Spine & joint injections
Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures may help clarify a pain source, reduce symptoms, or support participation in rehabilitation.
NON-INVASIVE
OrthoShockwave therapy
Focused acoustic energy may be considered for selected tendon, ligament, muscle, or joint-related conditions.
