She is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, with residency training at UT Southwestern and fellowship training at Texas Tech. Her approach reflects thirty plus years of image-guided procedures and a commitment to treating the patient, not just the picture.
An evaluation may address knee, hip, shoulder, back, tendon, or ligament concerns. What should I bring?
Bring relevant MRI or X-ray images and reports, your medication list, and prior treatment records. Call for instructions on providing imaging before your visit.
What will an evaluation tell me?
Dr. Westergaard can discuss reasonable options, including rehabilitation, established pain-management care, orthobiologic procedures for selected conditions, or surgical consultation when appropriate. No treatment guarantees that you will avoid surgery.
